Story Teller Presentatiom!
David Sage will make an appearance at the Story Library Friday, March 13th, from 1:30-2:30 to share another one of his incredible original stories! Dave works with school children in several schools in the Denver area and the Story School! He has also published 2 books, which are part of a series, and are geared towards ages 10 through adults! Dave has that wonderful knack of keeping the listener (and reader) on the edge of his/her seat! Stop in for a fun experience! (We are hoping to make this a monthly event the Second Fridays of each month!)
On loan from Suzanne Weakly’s collection, the back room display case in the Story Library presents an assortment of Swirl Graniteware historically produced throughout the Midwestern and Eastern United States from the 1870s until the end of W.W.II. Come see if you recognize any of the pieces from your grandmother’s kitchen and see how varied the colors are and how different true graniteware is from today’s mottled navy blue enamelware!
Songwriters’ Circle Now Meets on Mondays!
Calling all songwriters! Meetings of the new Songwriters’ Circle will be held in the conference room at the Story Library at 7:00 P.M. on the second Monday of each month! These get-togethers will be a chance for songwriters to share their original music: lyrics and/or melodies, not to be confused with popular jam sessions. Come inspire and be inspired! For more information, contact Ann Lowe at email@example.com or 307-763-3988.
