THE LIBRARY: WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU!
You will find more than 17,000 books (in regular and large print) in the adult and youth services (Children, Tween, Teen) collections. Classics, current Best Sellers & New Releases, NonFiction, Reference and much, much more are available for 2-week checkouts. Research informational and recreational resources, for beginning and older students and adults, provide a world of learning and excitement for the whole family. You will also find:
Nine Internet terminals are available for public use in one-hour sessions. Tongue River Branch Library also offers wireless Internet connectivity to patrons at least 18 years of age.
WYLD Cat (library’s on-line catalog) includes library holdings of the -4- libraries in the Sheridan County Public Library System, as well as public and community college libraries throughout the state; periodical databases, and indexes via the GoWyld Network (full-text articles from hundreds of magazines); and state government information.
Billings Gazette, Casper Star Tribune and The Sheridan Press are available (these are kept for one month).
Consumer Reports, Family Circle, Good Housekeeping, National Geographic, Newsweek, People Weekly, Popular Mechanics, Popular Science, Sunset, Taste of Home, and Time for the adults in the community. For Teens you will find Seventeen, National Geographic, and for younger library users you will find: Highlights, Ladybug, National Geographic for Kids and Ranger Rick. All are available for 1-week checkout.

Exhibits and Programs:
We provide programming for community young people of all ages, and adults (Storytime, Tween, Teen & Adult), with special events, book clubs and discussions. We also have art displays, summer reading, and seasonal events. Do come in and visit. Everything is free and open to the public!
