Wyo Snapshot Day Comments

Comments made by patrons who stopped in October 16th, about why the Story Library is important to them, are as follows:

“Half the year I live in an area with a Stone Age library system. I go into total bliss mode when I come to my cabin & get to use the superb collections in the Story & Sheridan libraries. Full service doesn’t begin to describe their benefits. One might say that without libraries (good ones) a civilization is barely adequate.”

“A library has always given me solace in a busy, hectic world. From classics to contemporaries, a world of exploration awaits.”

“Reading is so important in my life & the Story Library is wonderful. This is always the most happening place in town!”

“I recently retired and moved to Story, WY. I have used the library facilities every day for the purpose of internet access, & faxing. Being a remote community, it (the library) has been very beneficial to me. It is a beautiful facility with very friendly employees. I also took my grandson  during the summer to afternoon events for children. What a wonderful place.”

“Sure is cheaper than NetFlix.”

“I read a lot! And it’s a great place to see people & catch up on events, resident artists, collectors and the heart of the community.”

“Great place to stay connected.”

“I utilize the computers, copy machine and books at the library. It is also a wonderful place to come for a cheerful greeting and to be in an uplifting encouraging environment.”

“It is important because you can get good movies and books!”

“It’s great to have a place to exercise my mind. Great books & movies are meaningful!”

“I love the new book section. It allows me choices on many subjects of interest for entertainment.”

“The Story Library offers many conveniences, the staff is knowledgeable & very helpful. It is always clean, warm & friendly.”

And last but not least, “My daughter is the librarian.”  :)
