Movie Events at the Story Library!
We will be showing movies at the Story Library! The showings will take place the third Tuesday of each month, from approximately 4:00 pm-6:00 pm! (Please check at the library for start times as it may be changed, depending on the length of the movie.) This event is open to the public, and it’s free! (Free popcorn will be provided as well!) Stop at the library to see what the next movie will be!
Learn About EReaders!
Each month, the third Thursday from 1:30-2:30, we will be helping patrons with downloading free ebooks on their electronic devices! We will have some EReaders (Nook, Kindle, and Kindle Fire) available for demonstration purposes. You may also bring your own EReader device and we will help with downloading free Apps to make free ebooks available through the library system.
We will also demonstrate how to use the new 3M EReader Devices that is now available for checkout at any Sheridan County Public Library!

Local Writers, the Story Tellers, Meet!
A group of area residents, called The Storytellers, meet in the evenings two Tuesdays a month, to hone their writing skills! They meet either at the Story Library or at one of the participant’s homes. If you would like to find out more about the writing sessions, you may email Janey at janey@laughingbirdmusic.com or April at tpranch@rangeweb.net or check at the Story Library. They would love to have new participants join them!
Exhibits!
Our back room display for March is a beautiful, and very interesting collection of Hat Pins, shown courtesy of local collector, Dora Davidson! It’s a wonderful display and one we hope you get a chance to view!

Preschool Story Time
We offer preschool story time every Wednesday from3:00 pm-3:45 pm. We read stories and have some type of art or craft activity. All preschool children and their caregivers are invited! For more information go to the Children’s News.
