Friends of the Library

Did you know the Friends of the Sheridan County Library has been in existence since 1964? Wow! We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that consists of a volunteer board of directors interested in promoting Sheridan County’s libraries and their services. The Friends of the Sheridan County Library Board serves four county library branches including; Story, Clearmont, Tongue River & the Fulmer Public Library. Our purpose is to vitalize & share our enthusiasm for the use of our libraries and their resources & services. Our goal is to provide direct financial assistance to our libraries. We do this by holding fundraising events to raise money to give to the library to purchase special and/or unusual items that would benefit the libraries but can’t be purchased through the regular budget.
