More pictures of the children working on a project and Rabbit reading!!
Story Librarian and Library Board Member Guest ReadersLibrarian,
Jo, and Library Board Member, Patty, were asked to be a part of the
Story School "Birthday for Dr. Seuss Celebration!" They each read a
Dr. Seuss book to the Story School Children, grades kindergarten
through 5th grade. School Staff members, CB and Colleen baked this
wonderful cake for the children!
Patty read the book My Many Colored Days and Jo read a Pop-Up Book entitled Horton Hears a Who! The
children had been challenged by their teachers to read 22 Dr. Seuss
books within about 5 days and most of them did it!!! (They told us all
about their favorite Dr. Seuss books!) |

Preschool Story Times every Wednesday!
We have a preschool story time every Wednesday from 1:30 until 2:15. We read stories to the children (and their parents/grandparents) and have a quick art activity for the children. We do hope you can join us!
SUMMER READING FOR KIDS!
Our summer reading program for kids in grades K-5 begins in June! We will meet for six weeks, every Wednesday from June 11th-July 16th, from 3-4 at the Story Library! This summer's theme is: Catch the Reading Bug!
We (volunteer JoAnn Marquiss, and librarian, Jo Elliott, and other library staff) have lots of super fun activities planned! We hope all the children in grades K-5 can make it!!! (You don't have to come every week, just whenever you can make it!)
