Kate has a wonderful assortment of pastels, watercolors and even a few dioramas on display! She moved to Wyoming from Rochester, New York in 1987.
Kate began her artistic endeavors after she was given a watercolor set by her husband. She's been painting and drawing ever since! She prefers working with the watercolors, although she does enjoy working with pastels also. Her scenes are created either from photographs, still life arrangements, or "in the field" work.
Kate's dioramas are displayed in the glass case! She explained that working on the dioramas was a great way for "getting in touch with the child in you!"

Brenda Winters' Collection of Antique Scrapbooks also on display at the Story Library!
Brenda brought in three amazing scrapbooks that were put together in the early 1900s! In the scrapbooks, there are pictures cut mostly from magazines and newspapers! There are political cartoons, photographs, news clips and many more interesting items! We hope you can stop in to see these amazing scrapbooks... and please handle with care! |  | |
