Dr. Seuss's Horton Hears a Who Pop Up!  Pop-Ups by David A. Carter
Olivia Saves the Circus by Ian Falconer
Baby Bear, Baby Bear, What Do You See? by Bill Martin Jr.
The Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle
Do Princesses Wear Hiking Boots? By Carmela LaVigna Coyle and
Not Forgotten:  A Consolation for the Loss of an Animal Friend by Alexandra Day

Below is a picture of Catie and pictures of some of the books we purchased.
Please stop in at the Story Library and check out these great books!

We miss Catie and are so happy to have had the pleasure of knowing her.  We look forward to  reading these books, and others, to all the wonderful children who stop in at our library!

This is a great remake of the original Dr. Seuss book. It has absolutely incredible pop-ups, which add an exciting dimension to this wonderful book!

This book is a "must read !" Check it out and read it again and again and again to your child !

This is a cute, cute book!  Your kids will love it!

Region III Library Conference

Our county was well represented with four Librarians at the Librarian's Conference in Sundance!  Besides learning about the Director's Station, we also viewed a demonstration on the use of the Chilton's database which is available on the Internet.  (It's an excellent resource for those "handy" people that like to repair cars!)  We also had a chance to have conversations with other librarians in the region about effective library services.

Connie, Marci, Jo & Faith attended the Region III Conference in beautiful Sundance, Wyoming

Marci made a presentation to the group of approximately 30 people who were in attendance at the Conference. Sher explained how to retrieve data using the Director's Station.

HOT SPOT at the Story Library

We have WIRELESS INTERNET!  Just bring your own laptop computer, get a ticket at the circulation desk, sign on, and you have high speed Internet!
