**Tongue River Branch Library receives new books every week. New books are released on Tuesday afternoons. If you just can’t wait, place a hold on the items you want to read, and pick them up at your convenience.*



Monthly Book Display:








The Tongue River Branch Library has a monthly display of items for check-out, based on a holiday, event, season or area of interest. It features a combination of genres and media types: Audio/Visual Media, Nonfiction, Fiction, Young Adult and Juvenile Books, etc. Feel free to browse, check-out items, and take them home to enjoy. New displays and themes each month, so be sure to stop in and see what is featured!

Adult Book Discussion:

Come Join Tongue River Branch Library, along with discussion moderator Norleen Healy, for the Spring Monthly Reading & Discussion Series. Discussions are held at the Tongue River Branch Library and start January 13, 2015; 4:30-6:00 p.m. Sponsored by the Claire Yorks endowment, this spring’s theme will be on “Remembrance of things Past:  Exploring the Ghosts and Dreams of Family Memories.”  We will be reading and discussing: (1) The Glass Castle” by Jeannette Walls, January 13, 2015, 4:30-6:00 p.m. (2) “All over but the Shoutin'” by Rick Bragg, February 10, 2015. (3) “Cocktail Hour Under the Tree of Forgetfulness” by Alexandra Fuller, March 10, 2015. (4) “This Boy’s Life” by Tobias Wolff, April 14, 2015.  If interested, please stop by the library and pick up a book for the discussion.
